/vp/ was made because Pokemon news, both good and bad, was flooding /v/ and drowing out any discussion from other games. It was like Smash but way worse, and no the board didn't give a shit about BW, when this place was opened it was nothing but pokeporn. Constantly. Actual game discussion was minimal.
Fucking zoomer cucks probably weren't even around when we all claimed our Pokemon name tripcode and had it documented so we were the 'official' holders of said tripcode. It was peak autism.

One. X&Y routes have far more Pokemon in them than gen 5 routes. This is non debatable.
Two. Timegated Pokemon only appearing during certain months of the year is a dogshit feature and the only thing that ended up happening was causing you to do more busywork setting your DS clock to different months.
