Good evening / extremely early morning, /vp/. I've been working on making a new, full, competitive team for a while now. Problem is, I'm not very good at team building, and would love some pointers. Here are the conditions I'm using for my team:
>Use as many of my favorite Pokemon as possible
>No Legendaries
>Not adhering to Smogon rules, but also not going out of my way to tell them to fuck off
Pretty simple. Among my favorite Pokemon, there are 3 that are also, in general, considered competitively viable. The first is Mamoswine, who I already have built and is a bulky Expert Belt powerhouse. Second is Crobat, who I'm currently thinking Infiltrator with Brave Bird, U-Turn, Defog, and ???. Third is Galvantula, who's going to be my hazard set-upper via Sticky Webs and serve as a fast special attacker on the side.
A handful of other Pokemon that I'm fond of include, in no partiuclar order: Swampert (considering Mega Swampert once we see what it can do), Typhlosion (no furfag), Sudowoodo, Granbull, Gourgeist, Magnezone, Houndoom, Noctowl, Ampharos, and Mega Pinsir.
I know that alone isn't a lot to go off of, so here are some more in-general questions: what important roles is my current team of 3 missing? Are there any major, common threats that they're weak to that I need to be wary of? Would any of the above listed Pokemon fit in well with them? Any and all advice for helping me finalize this team, be it specific or more in-general, would be greatly appreciated.
