>>35994649>Why do people love this game so much? It's the most hand holdy gen in the series.I'm playing through it again too, right at the second gym now. Yes it does have the standard "first do this before advancing" but I have not experienced the same amount of handholding Kalos and Alola gave me. For one, only Cut stopped me from going back to explore the Old Chateau and getting Rotom, not a damn dog smelling the street forever.
I personally like it a lot because of how the story goes, the region is cool. Also the whole gen splitting Special and Physical, and that's pretty much it.
