>>42910892I agree. Ever since reveal it became my favorite Pokemon, but i never thought it would resonate with the general populace because Tongue Scarf was such an experimental concept. I remember Voting for him in the IGN and Dorkly polls the month of release without expecting much and then being legitimately surprised when he ended up winning both of them. That's when i realized he was actually turning out to be super popular. I guess even kinda weird artists end up becoming super popular every once in a while, like Bowie or Pink Floyd or Radiohead. I'm glad it happened with Pokemon too. Also glad at Dragapult taking the Galar crown. Such a weird and wonderful concept and execution.
