Assuming you have access to every retail game you need (just get a flash cart and hack a wii, who cares about buyfagging), the only motherfucker is getting a non-event Celebi because of all the hoops you have to jump through to get one from the JP Colo Bonus disc, assuming the end goal is an English cart. The only flat out unobtainable Pokemon are Deoxys and Mew.
Later gens just involve more transferring and more event only shit, and you also can never escape the fucking JP Colo Bonus Disc Celebi anyway, haunting you with how obnoxiously obtainable it is...
This is assuming you aren't willing to just hack in event only shit and gift mons otherwise who cares any gen is easy. An Aurora ticket alone lets you skip an entire fucking game in Gen 3.
