8, idk, am I really too old for it now, or was it just really fucking stale? I can't find any appealing qualities really. No significant improvements, and then the dex cut. Though I was here coincidentally in 2019 at the time of the leaks and hype phase, I didn't find myself retaining any interest past then. Whereas in prior gens there were always new movies/events, hidden abilities, megas, etc. being released, that kept me interested, I just kind of lost my interest in Pokemon this gen.
