Clefairy was supposed to be the Mascot but got shown up by Pikachu, then Jigglypuff took the rest of the spotlight in the show, and Eevee tried to kill her off from the franchise, but despite all that she still held on as she's a better battler than them, she gets more appreciation from fans whenever she gets shown in media, The Clef family is usually together, and even though Sylveon is the face of Fairymons, Clefable is the Foremother of Fairymons
But that doesn't mean they won't get Megas in the future
