But since Cubone, Pikachu, and Exeggcute don't have Alola forms, they evolve into their Alolan forms regardless of their origin.
So basically, both the regular and Alolan forms of every other Alola form Pokemon will be legal in VGC2017, but only the Alolan forms of Raichu, Exeggutor, and Marowak will be legal, because it's impossible to get Alola-born versions of their normal forms.
