Emmet shows up in gen 11 inexplicably redesigned and running the battle tower clone, which is the only facility in the game.
Ingo is only hinted at in a single line of dialog when you find Emmet in a random building where other story NPCs randomly spawn to spew the same two-sentence lick of flavor text.
Lockstin makes a 13 minute video about how this alludes to the reunion in gen 5 remakes in gen 12.
The BW remakes are actually made, but are outsourced to ILCA. Both Ingo and Emmet are there and neither of their previous situations are even remotely alluded to at all. They are never seen again.
