Reminder that X/Y can be played on phones via Citra with real time PSS even on mobile. Only downside is Jigglypuff isn't available until right before the 8th gym, but if this group playthrough has ORAS players added then they can send over Jigglypuff after the 5th badge. However, each player could PKHeX in a unique stage 1 starter by overwriting the starter before the Shauna fight. Mobilefags could request PKHeX help after unlocking PSS trading. Wigglytuffanon could start X/Y with Igglybuff, and everyone else could post their adventure with their own bro.
XYORAS would also allow for Wonder Trading. Before continuing from a checkpoint there could be 10-20 minutes of wonder trading. If someone made it to a checkpoint and has nothing to do they could box their party to avoid exp, raise up things nearby so others don't have to, and eventually people build a team of 6 different /vp/ team members.
