I want to see Ash & Marnie developing similar dynamic as Kumiko & Reina , this is the reason I was waiting for her, Marnie is basically serious girl with dark version of Pikachu, almost as if Game-freak specifically introduce her to clash with Ash.

I am not asking for romantic subplot since it will not work on Pokemon.
I just prefer Them to have more ship-tease like Kumiko & Reina who were straight.

Maybe if Ash & Koharu had "Funny guy, Straightman" dynamic then I might have given a chance but Ash & Koharu has no dynamic at all.
