I get your frustration with how overshilled she is/was, especially because they literally copy+pasted her anime counterpart's pokephobia gimmick from a shota in the Deoxys movie, and then she magically overcame her trauma all at once after the truth was revealed rather than gradually getting over it. I hate that part almost as bad as how much the anime and USUM tried to flanderize Lusamine into a nicer character, since TPCi is afraid of depicting a mom character as genuinely evil.
