As for the move animation, if gf is too lazy to give it special animations for attacks, give it and the other starters who don't have them (or lost them) signature moves that comes from its cannons. Would be a great way to show off some starters' more interesting animations. When's the last time you saw venusaur extend its vines? That animation is there, it just never gets used.
