>>35914017Honestly same, like ive loved pokemon since ive started the games in late gen 3/ gen 4, but I skipped out of ultra sun/moon because it met my low expectations of being a barebones third game instead of the sequel like bw2 i wanted it to be. Even now after getting it secondhand for cheap its a slog to play through, i just started and still dont feel like i have control of the damn game.
I mean like gen 6 didn't entirely test me but nor did 7 really, but its the little things that get you, like every trainer only having up to 3 mons, battles being piss easy, literally no challenge, rushed tiny regions and only 70-80 new pokemon along with no battle frontier, no decent post game, non skippable cutscenes and nothing that changes the games formula.
If i end uo hearing that the 2019 gane us the same 3ds shit only on the switch and not a game changer like mario odyssey or breath of the wild then i may have to peace out of pokemon for a minute, because i cant keep on buying these games and keep on being disappointed
