You aren't getting the same exercise you otherwise would, and you're not getting the same sense of accomplishment from getting hundos you otherwise would. But no one else is losing out by you deciding to cheat in this game. The only question is whether or not you feel the shortcomings from cheating outweigh the benefits. For me, I'm going to keep cheating until I hit level 50 or get my first strike from Niantic, at which point I reach either of those states, I'll be going back to playing legit. My only justification for cheating is that I don't have the money to take a plane all over the world to catch regionals, I'm too autistic to make friends I can trade with, and I don't want it to take several years to reach 50 for me.
