>>21341986I wanted to add to what I was saying:
I have a good feeling about Z.
There may be a strong possibility of enhancing whatever was lacking in X/Y -- as they do in every 'merge' game. Only this time around, in the recent past two years, Masuda and his team are sort of monitoring the feedback (not that they're addressing it all to the fullest, but Masuda did confirm in an interview that ORAS arrived sooner than he expected based on fan feedback).
With Z, they can pretty much dive right into working on what they want to enhance and add since the graphics and models are set. I am putting my confidence on Z.
I'm not going to bitch too much about X/Y, mainly because GF just finished remapping Pokemon through a new graphics engine, and that sounds like a lot of fucking work.
I'm mostly interested in a rich post-game, expansion on the story and involvement of AZ (the guys fucking based), more mega evolutions, and hopefully a little bit more work on the trainer customization feature.
With X/Y, it's not so much that it was a complete failure, or that it was completely lacking.
It's more like you could see that GF had or has something in mind, but are just kind of throwing it out there to see what we make of it.
You can tell based off of how vague AZ's involvement as a character was, and how spontaneously placed Zygarde is as a Pokemon.
The philosophy of harmony and beauty is the inspiration for the VI generation, but I'm waiting until Z to make my judgement on the topic.
