The reason the older pokemon games had good story it was because it was grounded to pokemon reality. The pokemon world is pretty much the same as ours except that pokemon exists and everyone is nice, but for some reason GF decided to turn the series into a high-fantasy RPG, now dont get me wrong i do love said RPGs but i dont want them mixed with pokemon.
Being a kid that just got their starter pokemon and went on an adventure was more than enough to keep you interested, yet here we are with doom's day devices and aliens, what the fuck happen?!
