>>37026484I never said everything they do is fine at all, I still don't like the needless removal of items and abilities and i think the catching mechanics needs tweaks along with a few other nitpicks (day/night, hard mode, etc). Those are really legit reasons to criticize the game
But the games are really FUN and it kinda makes up for some of the missing features that i pray they add back in the new games and gives Pokemon depth for more hardcore and older fans
I thought LGPE would be shit but actually playing them firsthand gives me back a lot of the hope i lost in the series during Gen6/7 and i have hope Gen8 will be decent games
