>>33231848Dragon Quest Monsters actually solves the issue of not being able to use your favorites in Joker 2 Pro with X and XY Variants obtained by synthesizing two Level 20+s of the same monster to get an X, and then doing the same with Level 50+s to get an XY.
The X and XY Variants have much higher stat gains and stat caps, and might even get a new skill tree or set of resistances, immunities, traits, etc.
Not sure if they kept this feature in Terry's Wonderland, Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key or either of the Joker 3s, though.
