The implementation of new features is a pretty big issue for me. Pelago's alright, but the Festival Plaza needs a lot of refining if it wants to surpass the PSS, and while the removal of HMs makes it easier for people to teambuild, the implementation of Ride Pokemon needs some work, and definitely could've existed alongside bikes. Dying clothes in Festival Plaza is horrible.
Probably in the minority here, but postgame as a whole is pretty overrated; half the franchise would be considered "bad" if people only focused on postgame battling content, including every first games in a gen.
