>>44570998OP of the second thread here, I'm less so trying to talk about HGSS as much as I am trying to point out that people are gonna want different shit out of the games, so it's important to keep that in mind when you seize uncontrollably when someone likes a game you don't like.
Like, I legit hate XY and literally everything they did to the franchise, but a lot of compfags seem to love it because it represented a time when competitive was truly accessible and fun for the franchise, with many coveting the prebank days and what megas did to help a lot of pokemon.
Even if it wasn't more balanced I can see how it would be an exciting time for multiplayer in general, and I think that's pretty cool
