I've genuinely always found Stantler memorable. I played Silver and Crystal a lot when they came out and remember seeing these a lot when grinding. A lot of Johto's mons, even with a guide that I had, felt obscure and mysterious. Stantler's hypnotising antlers were an example of this design. I won't pretend it's some masterpiece or that Johto's mon distribution was particularly well implemented but I remember Stantler.

It's extremely likely to not make it into Galar though.

You can keep going. Something like 500 mons are going to be snapped, presuming there's ~100 new pokemon, and ~300 old pokemon in a 400 mon Galar dex. 5/8ths of all current pokemon.

It was obtainable in B2W2, but not catchable wild. You had to breed Zebstrika to get it in B2W2, XY and ORAS. It's not in Gen 7 at all.
