they're just so spoOoOoOoky. Also was obsessed with proving the existence of ghosts when I was little and made my parents take me ghost-searching in purportedly haunted locations, so I have a sort of nostalgic affinity for them

I often greatly prefer the prevos over their evolutions (Shuppet, Duskull, Haunter, Frillish, Litwick, Yamask), so evolving them always feels somewhat off

Lots of ugly, humanoid, often-muscular pokemon, has oranges and reds as its associated colour, the aforementioned coverage makes them seem competetively unbalanced, worst gym leaders
