The most crazy shit I've read is Pokéwars or Reset Bloodlines, and only because one is edgy and the other tries to do the X-Men shit just to fail while giving Ash hundreds of OCs as siblings so he can be... average as some kind of deconstruction, I think?
I want to write one where some other setting goes to the Pokémon world either dimensional travel or space and tries to conquer it just to have Arceus say "fuck you!" by awakening all the people with hidden powers, like the Korean novels where they're awakened as hunters and such.
