Is it just me, or is this game getting to be more and more like Digimon?
With each new generation of Pokemon game, this series seems to be getting closer and closer to Digimon in similarity. I raised an eyebrow at mega evos, but I was fine with it. Now they seem to be going full-on digital monster with us in Sun/Moon. Think about it. There's the Greninja/Ash fusion, the new mega evos, the island guardians, etc.
>But there was fusion and stuff since B/W!
Yeah, that was for legendaries only, not almost every single Pokemon
Also, this game has gotten piss-easy? Maybe it's just an age thing, but ever since B/W2, this game has lost all semblance of difficulty. It's fine to have a meta-game and all (that's all on FREE computer programs that don't cost 60$ but whatever), but I am at least buying the games because the main campaign provides some sort of challenge. I don't want a game where you have a "press to win" button.
>If you don't want to use the EXP Share, don't!
That's the same kind of argument as "If you don't wanna get fat, just eat only 1 potato chip!" Sure, it's possible for some people, but not most of them, and unfortunately, I am not one of the ones with a strong will like that.
Look, I'm not saying the games are bad, and I know there's a group of people that like the new Pokemon as it is, but to me, this isn't the Pokemon I got invested in all those years ago. I think I'll go ahead and drop out, Pokemon seems to be going in a less faithful direction. Have fun with Sun and Moon, guys
Sorry for the vent thread, I feel like I had to talk about this somewhere
