>>55624793>tying Affection to the Friendship/Happiness meterI get not having Amie/Refresh anymore, but this punished BDSP's endgame HARD, and it's been in very Switch game since LGPE except for Arceus (and likely Z-A, unless they bring it back as a separate meter again), and clearly nobody's liked it in any game through to S/V beyond the Partner Pikachu/Eevee given they're supposed to be broken.
Why not just keep Friendship as just that? They replaced the Footprint Ribbon with the Best Friends ribbon since SwSh anyway.
