Cards with a Spell Speed higher than 1 can be activated in response to Pot of Greeds activation; Such as Magic Jammer, Solemn Judgement, Dark Bribe, Goblin out of the Frying Pan, Magic Drain, Gemini Counter, Infernity Barrier, Iron Core Luster, Karakuri Cash Shed, Madolche Tea Break, Raptors Gust, Snake Deitys Command, Tachyon Transmigration, Yosenjus Secret Move, Anti-Spell, Champions Vigilance, Bending Destiny, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell, Disarm, Divine Punishment, Do a Barrel Roll, Don Thousand/Trap B, Earthbound Wave, Exterios Fang, Feather Wind, Flamvell Counter, Hieratic Seal of Reflection, Imperial Tombs of Necrovalley, Mind Over Matter, Nine Pillars of Yang Zing, Paradox Fusion, Pollinosis, Red Roid Call, Reincarnating Parshath, Solemn Scolding, Shut Line, Solemn Warning, Spell Shield Type-8, Spell Vanishing, Stellarnova Alpha, Vanitys Call, Zefra Divine Strike,and Retort all can negate it's activation and destroy it, therefor preventing its effect. Other cards such as Silent Swordsman, Silent Swordsman LV7, Horus of the Black Flame LV8, A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon, Void Ogre Dragon, and Spell Canceller may also negate Pot of Greeds activation or its effect. Anti-Spell Fragrance may delay it's activation for a single turn, forcing it into the Spell/Trap Zone face-down. Other cards such as Mystical Space Typhoon, Twin Twister, Dust Tornado, Double Dust Tornado, Wild Tornado, Mystical Wind Typhoon, Chain Whirlwind, Double Cyclone, Typhoon, Cosmic Cyclone may be activated in response to Pot of Greeds activation, but will not negate its effect. When Pot of Greed is activated it allows the player who activated it draw 2 cards from the top of their deck and add them to their hand. As soon as this effect resolves, Pot of Greed is sent to the Graveyard and the player may continue the rest of their turn as normal.
