When they were cut from SwSh, I assumed it was a franchise wide change to move on from megas and leave them as that gen 6 thing. I expected it to happen at some point anyways, since SM didn't add new ones.
But then Mystery Dungeon had them back, and the they had a spotlight on the anime and now this, so why only SwSh cut them? Was it actually because they wanted to have nothing to take attention from Dynamax? Was it because they couldn't figure out a way to Dynamax megas since Dynamax doesn't use items? Just because they felt like it?
I just don't get it
