Serious question--is No Guard Fissure really broken in a meta with Gale Wings, Quick Attack Aerilate, Air Balloons, Sturdy, Levitate and Focus Sash? Not to mention Z-moves appear as if they're powerful enough to net in OHKOs.
I've seen arguments saying scarf will bypass many pokemon in certain speed tiers, which I can see the validity of. However, the same people in the past also complained that if somebody brings in Flying types, then Machamp would simply use Stone Edge. But if he's scarfed, clearly, he's locked into using Stone Edge unless switched out, which then prevents him from abusing Fissure right off the bat.
Smogon will outright ban the set for sure, so what's wrong in wanting this for fun?
