>SubmasI'm a fake Submas fan. I didn't really care about them much prior to PL:A besides "oh, these two are deeply autistic and look kinda fun, that's nice." Most of my appreciation from them even now comes from fan-produced stuff because, let's be completely honest, even with the Ingo in Hisui stuff they're not the deepest of characters.
But it's that ambiguousness, the room for interpretation, that makes them so appealing to me. I've got a soft spot for... tragic siblings, I guess? It's a trope I never really tend to dislike, for a reason I couldn't even try to explain. It's almost entirely headcanon BS, but fuck, it's not a husbando if you're not just making some shit up.
Oh, and Pokemas helped, even if I haven't really played it since their special costumes dropped. They're weird and I love them for it.
That, and I want them to DP me.>ArvenGenuinely, where do I even fucking begin? Putting it into words isn't something I've tried before.
Every single piece fits together just right for me. I tend to care more about a character's personality or story or whatever over anything visual, but I couldn't just not mention that Arven ticks every box for me there, too. Hair you'd wanna run your fingers through, a chest you'd wanna bury your face into, thighs you'd wanna sink your teeth into. I think in some respects, ScaVio is inherently kinda limiting towards it's main characters (excluding Penny, I guess) by having them restricted to the same basic uniform (and the models just looking... like that) but even then, Arven just works for me.
Arven as a character is genuinely one of my favourite things TPC has ever created, even putting all my husbando delusion aside. It's hard to boil down the reasons why. I think the gradual unfurling of his motivations/background really just drawn me in, the emotional investment probably helps. Guy's got shit going on, wanna hug him. Got a real big heart. Character limit is killing me.
