>>48275038Items are still debatable. Muscle Band is most likely still a must, but Razor Claw might be able to be squeezed in the Item Build. Gren needs some survivability so i guess Muscle/Razor and either Focus Band or Buddy Barrier?
As for skills, the Double Team but actually made it so Greninja is great no matter what Skill Combo you take.
Water Shuriken does some of the biggest damage in the game, but is kinda hard to hit and only hits one Pokemon. It kinda Compensates by having a 5 second CD and actually getting CD reduction when you use autos, so it's a pretty safe and spammable single target nuke.
Smokescreen is no longer as overtuned as in the second patch, but it offers the most versatility and team support. It's most valuable asset is definitely the ability to blind the enemy team. If you've been on the receiving end of a Gren Smokescreen, you know how annoying it can be. It can also be used for escapes or surprise attacks since it enhances your next auto.
Surf is Surf, a great move that gives you a small dash, heals, and resets its CD if it kills its target which is pretty easy since it deals extra damage the lower the enemy HP is. People overrate it compared to some other busted moves in the game, but it's definitely fantastic regardless.
Double Team actually became useful now. Before it was a waste of a move, but in this patch the clones aggro in on enemies and will actually use Skills now, so you can actually have a triple Water Shuriken nuke or could thoretically even land a Triple Surf on an enemy. So now Double Team is the skill to go if you're ahead and want to be hyper aggressive instead of stealthy.
