>>50865142>The decision to push Charizard and the birds again strikes me as a brain-dead analysis of the game's history, with a mindset of>>we had the highest number of players when the birds were around so obviously people want the birds back>But there's no consideration going on, it's pure numbers. There's a lot of speculation that we could do on why they make the decisions that they do. It seems like they changed their minds on what they planned on doing for raids right before the TCG event, because I assume they forgot that all the starters and all the Kanto birds were being featured in raids.
Idk, maybe they thought the TCG crossover would get more people interested in the game again, so they decided to run the Kanto birds anyway since they assumed returning players would probably be interested in them, I guess? Regardless, the fact that they were originally gonna do one mega raid Pokémon per week just to throw that out the window suggests they either didn't properly prepare for the TCG crossover, or they didn't get any information on the set until the beginning of June.
>>50865150>they've always resented that successIf they really wanted us to like the games they make (and I'm honestly open to appreciate their games), they have to add things we actually want to do in them BESIDES walking. I've played Pikmin Bloom religiously for 6 months (often more than I played Pokémon GO at times), but I got burnt out on it because, once you hit lvl. 60 (the lvl. 40 of that game), there's basically no reason to do anything but walk. All there is left to do is collect more Pikmin with unique decor and novel flower petals/nectar (and they even made farming rare petals/nectar impossible with a gameplay change last month). When am I gonna be able to send my Pikmin to take on something cool like a Man-at-Legs or Segmented Crawbster, let alone any kind of Bulborb, or at least something that isn't just a bunch of Kingcaps and Spotcaps?!?
