But, is there any actual evidence that children't wouldn't like, say, Samurott, as much as Oshawott? Charizard wasn't cute, but kids still liked it.
This isn't a complaint, I'm just genuinely curious if there's any evidence to the notion the anime writers have that children only like cute Pokemon.
