>>33384979Remember, you CANNOT encounter Smeargle first, and then reset for it. Meaning you can't KO it, save, come back, and catch it, because it'll never be shiny then. Save before its trainer battle before you encounter it. Keep an empty party slot so you can check its shininess faster.
Also if i were you i'd throw away your balltism for this pokemon. The master ball exists for a reason.
