I had Normal Tera type, which is probably preferred given their signature move. Maybe give them a Ghost Tera type if you're just using them to set up and to counter Fighting Types. Ultimately I still don't know how to use Tera types properly. The only use I've gotten is covering a weakness on dual type Pokemon. I caught a Golduck with a Fire Tera type but it can't learn any Fire moves cause it's still a fucking Golduck, so I think it's just a shitty Golduck. I could see a Ground Tera type Golduck being useful though cause it might have Ground moves and could counter Electric. Tera Type preference is really going to depend on move pool and support mons are going to be really tough to pin down.
