I was excited as hell for X/Y, when I woke up and saw all the videos on youtube about it, I nearly died from hype.
Then I got the game, and it was a pretty big disappointment, not a lot of new Pokemon, pretty small region, forgettable towns and gym leaders.
Then boom, OR/AS. Fuck yes, same excitement, get the game. I like it, it's a good game, it just feels like they didn't put as much effort as they should have in to it. And now we know they're catering to casuals, and it just pisses me right off.
Hopefully Z will be better and actually feel fucking completed. But I'm not expecting anything good after these.
