>>35288142>Here, have a magical flute that can bypass the rehabilitation process, but you only have it a couple of time, so use your judgment correctly. There are no shortcuts in life all the timevs.
>Oh look, let me just use 48 time flutes I hacked into the story to completely piss past the rehab aspect lolzI'm just going by what the game and storyline intended. Would I have wanted to play with my favourite mons in 3D? Sure, I can still do that post game.
But the fun (and challenge) is in learning to use
shitmons you would have never used otherwise, strategize, help them out, and accumulate the rewarding feeling of purifying them one by one.
When I first played, I would have never guessed that I would grow to like mons like Noctowl. Who would have thought that a some crappy 2ng gen owl that I purified from Pyrite Town from some thug would be a clutch part of my team that could hypnotize the legendaries I needed to catch?
It's a nuzlocke, in its own way, and I think that playing it your way is fun too. But I highly recommend you come back to the game some time, and play it with an open mind, go with the story, and learn to like some overlooked mons throughout the story.
You never know, you might even make a new favourite mon along the way, anon
