Living off the Algae that form in the Scandi Fjords, these gray Whishwashi have developed a film that give off a putrid odor, akin to salty, rotting flesh. Parts of its body have seem to have become translucent, giving the illusion that it’s decomposing.
It’s a bit of an acquired taste, obviously, but there are people who love the smell.
It’s not advised to use them as bait, because the film lingers
A study on the Fjord Algae has shown that it has no effect on any other Pokemon or human. But the Wishiwashi just love to eat it like they’re at a Vegas Buffet
