Sycamore'd been like Ghetsis but with a last minute reveal, and his battle theme would have been his normal one but kinda distorded, evil-sounding.
Basically, think of Linebeck's and Bellumbeck's theme in Phantom Hourglass.

I remember before XY came out, people were persuaded this was a valuable hint.
The only good thing that could come out of Sycamore being a villain would be his normal theme changing into a more sinsiter version of it as you battle him, similar to Linebeck's normal theme that becomes Bellumbeck's battle theme. It would be fucking awesome.
