Specifically, there are hundreds upon hundreds of fake Eeveelution designs out there, and I've been trying to find the best ones and gather feedback on them to see how they might be further iterated upon. My current frontrunner is this ghost type design, originally by the DA artist badafra, supported by "the miracles bloom", a video featuring the design someone uploaded to Facebook (of all places), which really shows off the potential of the design I feel.
It's important for an Eevee to be huggable, bring across the essence of its type (as much as is practical, anyways), and look good and fitting alongside the existing Eevees. I do feel this design checks all those boxes, especially if you say the tail starts off blank but can be painted on like in the Facebook video (since the characters on the tail otherwise represent an over-complexity that isn't present on the other Eeveelutions). I have a long-winded description of possible stats and evolution method in mind, but I'll spare you guys that diatribe, since possible changes (if needed) to the underlying design should be the first priority.
