You need to edit things so they make sense, and constantly prod and direct the AI so it doesn't get lost or repeat itself—it writes at most like one on-track paragraph at a time. There's also sprinkling your own personal touch–certain words, ways of describing things, etc. I see it a slave that does all the grunt work while you sit back and do the funner stuff.
