>>55573192Based and Christ-pilled, I actually have a schizo theory that the constant demand for casualization from a vocal minority of the fanbase is a result of societies increasing sinfulness causing a growing desire for reward without effort.
Afterall, the desire for reward without effort is the core of all sinful desires. Just like how, say, lust leads you to jack-off by making you want the pleasure of sex without the effort of getting a girlfriend, thus robbing you of the objectively more satisfying and fulfilling experience in favour of the cheap-knock off version, the increasing laziness of the pokemon fanbase leads them to want the games to give them everything they need without having to put in any of the usual effort by effectively skipping the whole process (see: EXP-share, exp-candies, auto-battling, etc etc), thus robbing them of the objectively more satisfying experience of actually earning these rewards like in the old games.
Tldr, on a spiritual level, the sinner turning away from God's will in favor of the easier but less fulfilling path is the same as the nu-pokemon shill turning away from the Kino of old pokemon in favour of the easier but less fulfilling QoL of nu-pokemon.
