We return back to enter Sootopolis, "The mystical city where history slumbers," a city based off of the Greek city Santorini. This place is stunning if you ask me. Here lies access to the TM Brick Break, and Kiri, the character named after the daughter of director Junichi Masuda, who gives out very useful berries (including EV reducing ones that are great for making your in-game team competitive and battle facility ready!)
Unfortunately FIRST we have raging Kyogre and Groudon to deal with. They got set off by the orbs by the leaders of Aqua and Magma (there's actually a scene for this in the Sealed Cavern with Kyogre):

You find Wallace in by the Cave of Origin in the back of Sootopolis. We need to get Rayquaza to quell these two monsters fighting right in the middle of town. We head for the Sky Pillar off of Route 131, and confront Rayquaza who thankfully ends up helping us out by calming Kyogre and Groundon from the sky in Sootopolis. All is well again in the Hoenn region... Also how awesome was it riding the Mach Bike over the cracked upper floor tiles in the Sky Pillar?!
We're free to take on the 8th gym leader Juan and get the Waterfall HM from Steven after this entire ordeal of stopping Maxie and Archie from totally expanding the land and sea of the Hoenn Region... Juan's straight forward enough: Water types are weak to Electric and Grass types! With that badge we're free to head off to Evergrande City east of Route 129, but we can do some things with Waterfall also first.
