Also his smash counter part looks better because they slightly tweaked it, which feels kinda bad, at least with mewtwo the tail was big just to give it more move potential, it feels like every knew it looked odd and changed it so it would look better.
Same with Obstagoon, but at least Obstagoon has even tube limbs and not tubes the randomly turn into twigs, Incineroar just stands out to me, and kinda like gen 8 pokemon, don't feel like Pokemon.
Maybe that's how you can tell you have been a part of a franchise for so long, when designs just aren't that way anymore, the shift is just happening and I'm just not used to it.
Gen 5 Pokemon still don't feel 100% like Pokemon to me, even though I like the games
