It started with Gen 6 with Zard getting two megas, but at least in that game we knew right away that Bulbasaur and Squirtle were still guaranteed in. The fact that GF isn’t even going out of their way to mention “oh yeah the toad and turtle are here too lol” is a real fucking bad sign.
