Honestly I'm just fucking sick of starter wars in general after Gen 7, to the point where I'm somewhat glad there was a clear "loser" in terms of popularity this gen with Rillaboom. If the POTY poll is anything to go by it was only so bad because all three of them were close in popularity compared to most other starter trios
