Or franchise?That's the goal of this thread which got me interested, though at the same time Pokemon's been a series that has been with me since I was a kid. I'm not as crazy involved with the mainline series in recent years, but romhacks and fangames have been pretty fun in their place. The team I've made for my OC is half composed of my favorites (Chandelure & Scolipede), and half of Pokemon that did really well for me in Radical Red (Mega Sableye & Froslass) actually. My OC is 50% self insert like that, but that didn't seem like an issue for the crowd here.

I'd love to make an entirely original story one day but so far it hasn't worked out. That being said I am attempting to make my own region so it is kind of a vaguely new setting. There is that. It's been really tough and trying to figure out the Pokemon that belong there is not easy, but I'm also enjoying myself.
