I mean for fucks sake dude we literally had Gen 4 happen where there was a severe lack of Fire types, and not because of "muh cold region" or whatever other inane cope you wanna come up with. GF COULD make more new Fire types, but theyve never wanted to, and now its even less likely since they have a shit tantrum over reaching the boogeyman number 1000, so now its all up to regional forms to pick up the slack. And that is just filled with lazy low effort Dark and Ice type spam. Why not a Grass/Fire Sunflora region form? Or a Fighting/Fire Scrafty that starts fires like a BLM protestor chucking molotov cocktails? Because that would actually take effort.
