"new pokemon are ugly."So exactly like I said, and Unovabortions continually deny: that everyone but them recognizes that something, which many couldn't quite put their finger on at the time, went terribly wrong in Unova Pokemon's design. People didn't hate Unova because it was all new or because they couldn't use old Pokemon during the main game. They hated it because the new Pokemon sucked by and large, design-wise. Barely anyone agrees precisely who the duds and non-duds were, but most people feel the same way about the dex at large.
