The remakes are all done in the let's go formula by the low effort office politics team. The mainline releases are done on alternative years following the formula from black and white. More experimenting with story but a more open ended experience where a player can either sequence break the 8 gyms in any order and the league using the adaptive challenge outlined earlier or focus on the story which is pathed along the gyms as the more vanilla or expected model of play.
